Eleventh edition of this landmark Dutch- and English-language recipe book, with a different pudding recipe for every day of the year, from a tart on 1 January, to grape mould on 31 December. Understandably some of the recipes are more wild than others — 'Mysterious Pudding' (see 23 June) is a hollowed-out banana filled with layers of cake and jelly. Sounds like fun for people with a sweet tooth, bad fruit and time on their hands.
