The book's main section consists of twenty-four menus for each season of the year, with accompanying recipes, a mix of the everyday and the out-of-the-ordinary. The second section gives suggestions for party occasions, including buffets and two Christmas dinners. Unless otherwise stated quantities are sufficient for four people.
