Dahlias

The dahlia is undoubtedly one of the most popular of garden flowers at present and one of the flowers in which most spectacular advances have been made in recent years. As a garden flower it has many merits since it is not unduly difficult to grow well, it has a long season of flowering, and among the varieties is a great range of both bright colour and size.

This book includes chapters on growing dahlias for exhibition, on the use of dahlias in floral arrangements, on storage of tubers, and on pests and diseases. Finally there is a calendar of operations throughout the year.
