Anecdotal Cardiff, the archive, was constructed over a six month period whilst Savage was artist in residence at Cardiff central library. The library was chosen because it is a site open to everyone and used by a non-specific public. The stories were collected as a series of informal interviews. Each interview was then transcribed and put up on the 'Anecdotal Cardiff' notice board at the library.
