This work presents the official Danish contribution to the 1999 Venice Biennale, the aim of which is to "create a common place in a common time". The representatives of two nations (the American Jason Rhoades and the Danish artist Peter Bonde) aim to create a common culture and artistic space. This work documents the joint project, in which the artists transform the pavilion in Venice into a stock car course with real American stock cars, sound effects and film projections.
