Few works of contemporary literature are so universally acclaimed for their expression of the human condition as Nobel Prize- winner Samuel Beckett's seminal three novels. Beckett originally wrote these masterpieces in French in the short time span of 1947 to early 1950, and after publication in Paris rendered them into English.
