Description

Lovely and resilient purple spikes of flowers mid to late summer. Native variety self seeds politely. 'Robert' is slightly stockier and pinker.

Cultivation

Unfussy but prefers a moist sunny spot.

Maintenance

Seed heads hold well in winter weather so avoid dead heading.
