Description

Like a dock but with narrower leaves, attractive red green delicate flower spires in summer. Very widespread here but fades away once ground is well cultivated and planted.

Culinary Uses

Leaves can be cooked as greens or eaten raw.

Maintenance

Attentive weeding out where is not wanted. Won't survive repeated deep mulching.
