Description

Bright yellow small flowers on a spiky, untidy evergreen that prefers to grow in open, sunny spots. In flower on and off all year round. The Woodland Garden site was covered in gorse before the garden was begun.

Culinary Uses

Buds can be pickled like capers, whilst flowers have account aroma and can be used as flavouring or as a tea.
